Agape

 DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST:

Praise the Lord for all the Blessings He has given us this past year.  Now it is time for us to show others the love of God through the gifts of Agape for the up-coming walks.  Your Agape letters, the food and drinks, and the gifts show the butterflies and pilgrims the love God has for them through your actions.  The most important gift you can give is your prayers for all persons on the walks.  Send or bring your Agape to one or all of the upcoming events.

Prayer Vigils

 Hello brothers/sisters of the Emmaus Community.

It is time to sign up for the Crysalis Fight on the prayer wheel.  We need all of the community to sign up on the prayer wheel at the Keystone home page to pray for the caterpillars.  The dates for the Flight are February 7^th through February 10^th.  There are 107 time slots left to fill.   I pray that you all step forward and sign up.  If you do not have a computer, call Jeff Putt at 717-273-0737, and I will put you on the wheel.   Also remember the Spring Walks are coming fast—look for the prayer wheels on the Keystone Emmaus  home page to sign up for the Men’s and Women’s Walks in April 2008.

Chrysalis

 Hi!  I am very excited to introduce the new Chrysalis Board to the Emmaus Community.  At our initial meeting, we had Joann Darrow as our Spiritual Director, Chris Gaugler as Lay Director with Kim Ditty taking the role of Secretary, and having Jeanne Spahr and Eric Ulsh as members-at-large.

 With the current flight February 7^th through February 11^th, 2008 under the excellent care of Tammy Newberry, Jared Mitterling and Cheryl Houser, we feel that we have time to grow into our roles for next year’s flight.  We recognize the need to have some youth and young adults on this committee.  Please encourage interested youth to contact any member of this group mentioned above.  We have agreed to meet quarterly when the Emmaus Board meets, and our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, February 16^th at 4:00, before the Hoot at 5:00 at Hope Church in Port Trevorton.  We look forward to seeing everyone there!

 We have a community of over 1500 members and are now hosting a web site to better communicate to each member what news and events are happening. The web site is updated as often as new information becomes available. Please take advantage of your web site, www.keystoneemmaus.com, to access the information. Please keep in mind that anyone in this Community is more than welcome to contribute information for our newsletter. Please take some time to look over the web site and forward any comments or suggestions to me.

 Also, if you have a new mailing address, phone number or e-mail address, please send your new information to newsletter@keystoneemmaus.com so that you will continue to receive future mailings.  You can also sign up for the prayer vigils on the web site.  Please support our pilgrims with your prayers!
